The Gloucester area Triumph Sport Six Club meet at The Swan on the third Monday of each month from 8pm. New members always welcome.

The Swan at Coombe Hill is one of the few remaining independent country pubs in the area. Conveniently situated between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury on the A38, it has fantastic views overlooking Cheltenham to Cleeve Hill.

The Swan offers fresh, seasonal and local produce, traditional and contemporary dishes using the best British ingredients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All our dishes are homemade and cooked to order. Our menu changes every three months to reflect seasonal dishes and our chef’s imaginations.

For many, Sundays just wouldn’t be the same without a roast dinner, so here at The Swan we want to keep with tradition. We offer mouth watering Sunday roasts, beautifully prepared by our chefs and served with all the traditional trimmings. There’s something for everyone and of course we serve food all day Sundays.

As a free house we are able to select the finest real ales from national and local Cotswold breweries including Goffs in Winchcombe, Battledown & Prescott breweries in Cheltenham, Wykwar Brewing Co. and the new Gloucester Brewery, based at the docks.

In the summer of 2010, Tewkesbury CAM.R.A. awarded us 'Pub of the Season'. This was based on our very successful charity beer festival held in the summer, where we raised over £300 for 'Help for Heroes' and for the selection of local real ales that we serve.

We have a large beer garden and decked terraced area. We pride ourselves on being a family friendly restaurant with a separate children’s menu. Alternatively, if your child would like to eat from our main menu, we are happy to adapt most of our a la carte dishes.

In order for us to welcome everyone at The Swan, we are pleased to be able to say, that because all our dishes are prepared and cooked to order, we are able to adapt dishes to cater for our guests who have specific dietery requirements, please call in advance to enable us to be able to offer you a wider choice of dishes.

We have approximately five acres of land, three of which are planted with vines. These are now being given a new lease of life and in October 2011 we picked 6 tonnes of grapes which have gone to Three Choirs to be produced into wine - will be available June 2012.  The grape varieties we grow are - ORION the white and RONDO the red. Unfortunately the weather this year has affected the quality of the fruit. The grapes have been harvested and we are hoping that the white grapes will be made into sparkling wine but this does take 2 years to produce.

We strive to create the best possible experience for our customers by offering exceptional quality, service and value. We look forward to exceeding your expectations sometime soon…
